Foster America is now recruiting for the inaugural Technology Leadership Circle (TLC), a fellowship aimed at refining tech-based solutions to support children and families.
The TLC builds on the momentum of the 2024 Fostering Futures Forum, a dynamic event co-hosted by Foster America and MIT. Held in May, this forum provided an unprecedented platform for people who have experienced foster care to brainstorm and propose solutions aimed at improving the experiences of children and youth impacted by child protective services.
Now, participants in the TLC will have the opportunity to take these transformative concepts further, working closely with peers, technologists, and Foster America faculty and staff to bring the innovations proposed at the forum closer to fruition.
This 10-month opportunity is open to 12-15 early-career professionals who have experienced the child welfare system. In addition to virtual programming, the fellowship will culminate in an in-person convening where fellows will finalize the prototypes and share their progress.
Foster America is excited to offer this collaborative, learning-centered space that connects technology with community-focused solutions to drive change across child welfare.
