Jolie Bales is a principal at JA Bales & Associates. She brings over 30 years of expertise in individual, family and corporate philanthropy from her work advising high net worth individuals, families and foundations on strategic philanthropy. Prior to TechSoup, Jolie was a Founder of Artience Capital Management, LLC; a Senior Vice President at Merrill Lynch Private Bank; and a Managing Director at US Trust. She practiced corporate law and worked in investment banking and consulting as well. Jolie earned a JD from UC Berkeley School of Law and a BA from Pomona College.
