Through internships and volunteer experiences in child welfare, she has developed a strong understanding of policy and social issues. She is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Temple University with the hope of applying this knowledge to advocate for equity in child and family services. Safiyyah’s commitment to inclusivity drives her efforts to ensure that every child’s voice is heard and their well-being, prioritized.
