Natalie Bergstrasser

Prevention Initiative Director

Natalie Bergstrasser is a social worker, connector, and communicator who is passionate about investing in the lives of people who have experienced trauma, as well as the people and organizations that serve them. Natalie has spent the bulk of her career working in partnership with transition-age youth and foster families, as well as communities where children enter foster care at disproportionate rates. Natalie’s work has centered on connecting the dots between the policies and practices of systems and those who are most impacted, seeing them integrated into every step of design, implementation, and evaluation. In her previous roles, she worked in partnership with communities and people with lived experience in systems-change initiatives. She is an alumna of the University of Central Oklahoma and the University of Oklahoma, where she focused on social work through the lens of public administration and community practice. Natalie is a proud parent, as well as a foodie and lover of adventure.
