Marie Zemler Wu, Foster America’s co-founder and executive director, is a creative community builder with extensive child welfare experience. In past roles at the Annie E. Casey Foundation and Center for the Study of Social Policy, Marie served as a consultant to child welfare agencies across the nation. Marie is a graduate of Macalester College, Boston University’s Center for Digital Imaging Arts, and the Harvard Kennedy School. As an adoptee and mom of three, Marie considers it her personal mission to see all children rooted in strong families and supportive communities.
