Danielle Savage began her career in data by working at a waste management company in San Francisco where she created an image-recognition algorithm that helped customers sort their waste to reduce the amount that ends up in the landfill. She then joined a bank, where she returned to the explanatory side of data science work. It was while she was there she was recruited to join the Foster America fellowship program, after which she joined the Foster America staff. Danielle is a graduate of Pepperdine University and the University of San Francisco.
