Daniel Parr joined Foster America in 2024, bringing 15 years of fundraising experience and a background in national service, education, and environmental conservation. He previously served as a team leader with the Student Conservation Association high school programs in Washington, D.C., and facilitated internships in national parks for college students across the Southeast United States. At City Year in Boston, Daniel coordinated development operations to support AmeriCorps members serving in public schools nationwide. As an adoptive parent and mentor to children in and out of foster care, Daniel is deeply committed to social justice and supporting vulnerable families. He is a graduate of the University of New Hampshire and lives with his family in Boston.
