Aminata Simbo is a strong advocate devoted to changes that address systemic oppression and injustice. Aminata worked for the Philadelphia’s Department of Human Services Child Welfare Operations in various capacities for many years and is dedicated to partnering with others to achieve sustainable racial and gender equity. As an instructor providing policy- and practice-related education, she enjoyed offering foundational knowledge to positively impact children, families, and communities. Passionate about mentoring and leadership development, Aminata has been mentoring the next generation of leaders, particularly women, for more than a decade and strongly believes that little changes lead to lasting impact.
